Custom-made crowns and bridges that restore damaged or missing teeth — strong enough for everyday chewing and shaded to blend in with your natural smile.
At Perfect 32 Dental Clinic & Implant Centre, we offer high-quality crowns and bridges to restore both the function and the look of your smile. Led by prosthodontist Dr. Praveen Kumar, every restoration is custom-made to blend seamlessly with your natural teeth, giving you long-lasting, natural-looking results.
Why it matters
A cracked, heavily filled or missing tooth doesn't only affect your bite — over time the teeth around it can shift and your jawbone can change shape. Restoring the tooth early stops that chain reaction.
Understanding the Treatment
What are crowns?
Crowns, also known as caps, are custom-made coverings that fit over a damaged or decayed tooth. They restore the tooth's shape, size, strength and appearance, and can be made from zirconia, ceramic, metal, or porcelain fused to metal.
Crowns are ideal for
Protecting a weak tooth from breaking
Restoring a broken or severely worn tooth
Covering a tooth with a large filling
Holding a dental bridge in place
Covering misshapen or discoloured teeth
Covering a dental implant
Understanding the Treatment
What are bridges?
Bridges replace one or more missing teeth. They consist of crowns on the teeth on either side of the gap — called abutment teeth — with a false tooth, or teeth, fixed in between. Bridges can be made from porcelain, ceramic or metal alloys.
Bridges are ideal for
Restoring your smile
Maintaining the shape of your face
Restoring the ability to chew and speak properly
Preventing remaining teeth from drifting out of position
Benefits
Benefits of crowns & bridges
01Restored functionality
Crowns and bridges bring back the ability to chew and speak properly.
02Natural aesthetics
Custom shaping and shading make each restoration blend in with your natural teeth.
03Durability
Made from strong materials, crowns and bridges can last 10–15 years or more with good care.
04Protection
Crowns shield weakened teeth from breaking, and bridges keep neighbouring teeth from drifting.
Step by Step
The procedure for crowns
01
Consultation & examination
Our dentist examines your teeth, takes X-rays and confirms whether a crown or bridge is the best solution for you.
02
Tooth preparation
Under local anaesthesia, the damaged tooth is reshaped to make room for the crown. If needed, filling material is used to build the tooth up to support it.
03
Impressions
A precise impression or digital scan of the prepared tooth and surrounding teeth is taken to create your custom-made crown.
04
Temporary crown
A temporary crown protects the prepared tooth while your permanent crown is being made and shade-matched.
05
Permanent crown placement
Once your crown is ready, the temporary is removed and the permanent crown is fitted, adjusted for your bite and cemented firmly in place.

FAQs
Frequently asked questions
With good oral hygiene and regular dental checkups, crowns and bridges can last 10–15 years or longer.
No — the tooth is numbed before any preparation, so the procedure is comfortable. Mild sensitivity for a couple of days afterwards is normal and settles on its own.
Brush twice a day and floss daily. For bridges, use a floss threader or interdental brush to clean under the false tooth, and keep up your regular checkups.
Yes. Once your permanent restoration is fitted you can eat normally — just avoid biting on very hard things like ice or bones, which can damage natural teeth too.
Contact us — a high spot or rough edge can usually be adjusted in a few minutes. A restoration should feel just like your own teeth when you bite.
